A thin glass band was wrapped around this double-bodied bottle, and another glass band was wrapped around the sides of the body to form a wavy design. Also, there is a large, two-tiered suspended handle attached on top of the bottle's mouth.Complex decorations using glass bands require speed and advanced temperature control techniques because once glass hardens, it cannot be processed further. This piece is a sterling product made by a skilled glass blower during the Roman era.
