Mosaic slices, such as pattern and scroll pattern, are put into the casting mould and fused into glass dishes. Because it looks like countless flowers blooming, it is also called glass decorated with "patterns of thousands of flowers". Because there are still many mosaic glasses with the same pattern, they should be used as a complete set of tableware for banquet, embellishing the luxurious banquet in ancient Rome (some say that mosaic glass was first laid, fused into glass plates, and then heated to take shape).
