Ribbed bowl

This is a shallow bowl made of light blue transparent glass. It was made by placing ribbed glass on a mold shaped like an upside down bowl, and then formed using the sagging technique where glass sags under its own weight when heated. The ribbed design is said to mimic the designs on hammered silverware that were widespread at the time.
