The sketch depicts the Xieshi Bodhisattva in the south wall of Cave 57 (early Tang Dynasty) of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. The Bodhisattva's posture is three-bend, with elegant and dignified expression, smooth and gentle lines, slightly tilted to the right foot and slightly bent waist. The Bodhisattva wears a crown and earings on the head, and ornaments like plastrons, pearls and jade, braceltes on the body.He used two pieces of paper to show the most beautiful statue of Bodhisattva in Dunhuang, and delicately captured the charm of Bodhisattva in the frescoes.
