Athena, the daughter of Zeus, is the goddess of wisdom, military tactics, and crafts as well as the goddess who guarded Athens. It is said that when she jumped out of Zeus'skull, she was fully armoured and was wearing a helmet, which is the image of the goddess who guarded the city and the country.
