The Silk Road is a trade route that connects the east and the west ends of Eurasia. Hirayama Iku believes the Silk Road also connects cultures of the east and the west. A man with beard who seems to be the head of an Afghan clan rides a white horse and leads the caravan of merchants. Under sand dunes, the desert constantly changes shape. Bustling cities and magnificent buildings will return to nature eventually. The Silk Road symbolizes cross-border communication between people of different nationalities.
