The gold coin issued by the Kanishka I of the Kushan Dynasty, who took protective measures towards Buddhism (other collections of the same kind are also available). On the front side of the coin are the altar of fire and King Kanishka. On the other side is the god of wind (inscribed Anemos) wearing a huge shawl and flying. This image originated in ancient Greece and was later spread to Gandhara, Central Asia, China, and Japan.
